Creamy Coleslaw

Makes 6 side servings
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons salad oil
3 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded red or green cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots (2 medium)
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions (2)
- In a large bowl combine cabbages, carrots, and green onions.
- In a small bowl stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seeds, and salt. Pour mayonnaise mixture over cabbage mixture. Toss lightly to coat. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours.
