Thanksgiving Tips

Rather than re-posting a turkey recipe (because I wasn't really keen on the idea of making two turkeys in a span of 7 days), we're listing some of our favorite Thanksgiving recipes. You can check out our Feast for a great brined turkey, caramelized onions, cranberry sauce, and, of course, apple pie.

Cabbage Soup with Apples and Thyme a great soup to start off your Thanksgiving meal...or tie you over from breakfast to the big dinner
Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes  better than your typical marshmallow-topped sweet potatoes; and you can make them the day before

And for dessert, try something in addition to (definitely not in place of!) pumpkin pie. These desserts are all lovely on the plate and even better in your mouth.
Cran-Apple Torte cranberries +  apples + walnuts = perfection
Ginger Cake think gingersnap in cake form
Steamed Cranberry Pudding with Butter Orange Sauce cooked in an unconventional way; good luck waiting for this to finish steaming
Chocolate Fudge Torte a rich, dense fudge cake with an oreo crust. Yum.

Happy Thanksgiving!
